The crescent moon is indicative of fertility
.Water is usually represented as a pattern of ripples. Just as a river or stream keeps flowing, life is a constant series of change and emotions.
They both appear to have fruit in their hands, i haven’t found a definition yet, but i’m sure the meaning is fairly evident!
Looking at the back this was most likely the top off of a pedestal table.
One of many favorites of mine, but I can’t keep everything!
