Amongst the lower ranks of demobbed veterans there was much bitterness, understandably so, at the lack of support they received.
This poem clearly encapsulates this.
It was cheaply printed in London, and most likely circulated in London.
A rare survivor, this is the only one I’ve seen in original black and white. It is mentioned in the Imperial War Museum archives.
